New Credit Card Slips

on November 9, 2011

Did you know that you can accept credit card payments to make it easier for customers to pay? The slips are FREE! You just have to order them.

Accepting credit cards as payment is Easy.

1. Make sure the slip is completely filled out & SIGNED!

2. Call the 1-800 # on the back of the slip to obtain an approval code. Write this approval code on the slip.

3. Give the customer the appropiate copy of the slip.

4. Mail the slip into the Avon payment processing center. Make sure to use your payment remittance slip found in your order invoices. The credit will be added to your account.

As always if you have any questions about accepting credit cards as payment, please call Avon customer service. Below is the explaination about the new credit card slips.

The Avon Credit Card Slips have been enhanced to protect Representatives and their Customers from identity theft. The credit card number will no longer appear on the carbon copies of the credit card slip eliminating potential exposure of personal credit card information.

Representatives submitting payments via credit card should ensure that the credit card slip is completed in its entirety for processing. This includes the full credit card number, expiration date, approval code, Customer name, Representative name, campaign number, account number, telephone number, zip code, District number, delivery date and amount of sale.

Be sure the Customer signs the credit card slip and verify the name is the same name which appears on the Credit Card.

The new Credit Card slips will be distributed beginning in November.
